“Recycling plastic is often an incredibly simple task, but many of us think our actions are insignificant and forgo the action. However, this seemingly inconsequential task has great consequences. That tiny piece of plastic can become millions of microscopic pieces that travel around the world, hurting all types of animals, some of which may be on our dinner tables. These microscopic pieces may be eaten by wildlife, causing them to have internal damage or even starving to death.
